Groupie Connect LLC d/b/a Groupie (“Groupie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information. 1. Services Covered
Groupie provides an SMS/MMS messaging platform and related tools that allow Customers to send messages, manage contacts, and analyze engagement. Groupie acts as a service provider and data processor with respect to End User data uploaded by Customers.
This Privacy Policy governs the use of information collected through our Services. If you are an End User receiving messages from a Groupie Customer, your relationship is primarily with that Customer.

Groupie processes this information solely to provide the Services, including message delivery, routing, compliance monitoring, and customer support.

We collect standard internet log information from Visitors, including:

D. Information We Do Not Collect
Groupie does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Groupie does not use End User data for marketing purposes and does not sell personal information.
4. SMS, MMS & A2P 10DLC Compliance
Groupie operates in compliance with:
U.S. carrier requirements
A2P 10DLC regulations
Twilio, Plivo, and other messaging provider policies
To support compliance, Groupie may:
Monitor message traffic for prohibited content
Enforce opt-in and opt-out requirements
Maintain records of consent and STOP/HELP commands
Suspend or terminate accounts that violate messaging laws or carrier rules
5. Consent & Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
Where applicable, Groupie may analyze aggregated and anonymized service usage data, including network and delivery metadata, to:
Improve service reliability
Detect fraud and abuse
Meet regulatory obligations
This data does not identify individual End Users. Customers may withdraw consent for certain analyses by contacting us.
6. Sharing of Information
Groupie may share information with:
Messaging carriers and aggregators (to deliver messages)
Cloud hosting, analytics, and payment processors
Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law
Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
Groupie does not sell or rent personal information.
7. Customer Responsibilities for Contact Data
Customers are solely responsible for:
Obtaining proper consent from End Users
Ensuring compliance with SMS/MMS laws
Honoring opt-out requests
Responding to End User data access or deletion requests
If an End User contacts Groupie directly, we will direct them to the applicable Customer and assist where appropriate.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active
Messaging logs are retained for compliance and audit purposes
Temporary message content and media may be deleted after delivery
Customers may request account deletion by contacting us
Certain data may be retained as required by law or carrier regulations.

Groupie uses cookies and similar technologies to:
Authenticate users
Analyze site performance
Improve user experience
You may control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Your Rights & State Privacy Laws
New York & U.S. Residents
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
California Residents (CCPA)
Groupie acts as a service provider. End Users should direct CCPA requests to the Customer who collected their information.
11. Communications Preferences
Service-related and transactional communications are required
Marketing emails include unsubscribe options
SMS opt-out is handled via STOP commands
12. Security
Groupie uses industry-standard safeguards including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted with advance notice where required.
